Panasonic’s first model ‘eco ideas’ Factory in India: Technopark, Jhajjar

The Panasonic Technopark, Jhajjar, is the first model ‘eco ideas’ Factory in India and sixth in the Asia Pacific region. The Technopark embodies Panasonic’s ‘eco ideas’ Strategy, incorporating both ‘eco ideas’ for Lifestyles and ‘eco ideas’ for Business-styles.

·         ‘eco ideas’ for Lifestyles: Production of eco products and promotion of eco activities within the community creating green lifestyles

·         ‘eco ideas’ for Business-styles: Continuous improvement of environmental performance with green manufacturing processes

The Technopark integrates environment with business growth through various green initiatives such as carbon dioxide emission reduction, waste management system and recycling, solar power generation and a 100% water recycling system. As a model ‘eco ideas’ Factory, it not only manufactures eco-friendly products with sustainable industry practices, but also serves as an outreach platform for environmental education activities, in an effort to raise the level of eco consciousness within the community.
