On the Industrial front, Distt is now witnessingh Industrial growth at faster pace by providing good infrastructure to the Industries. At present 1510 small scale industrial unit are working besides it,37 large and medium units also exist in the district Mainly, like M/s Surya  Roshni Ltd., M/s Somany Ceramics Ltd. Hindustan Sanitary wares & Industrial Ltd. Merino Panel Products Ltd. Relaxo Footwear Ltd., Austentic Creations Pvt and IUP Jindal Metal & Alloys Ltd are prestigious industrial units in the district.

INFRASTRUTURE

              Industrial Department Haryana and other Govt. Agencies like HSID, HUDA  have developed 4industrial Estates. The details thereof are given as under:-

   Mustard Oils, Pharmaceutical, Ammunition Boxes, Paints & Chemicals, Bullet Proof helmets & Patkas.

IMPLEMENTIONS OF IEMs/FDIs/LOIs:-

             Being proximity to National Capital, New Delhi 228 numbers of IEMS are field by the investors for establishing industrials units in the district, out of which 97 are implemented so far.

EXPORT:-

             Through the export forms this Distt. Has not been very good initially, but in recent years there has been encouraging take of in export also. Mains items being exported by the unit here are Pharmaceuticals, Lathers Footwear, Hallow Galss Wares, Electronic Microwave Components used in Aircraft. Missiles & Radars, Ultra Marine Blue, Ceramic  Glazed Tiles, Sanitary Wares, Brake Lining, harrow Discs, Brass fitting Papers Board Laminated Sheets, Lead pencils.

                      The value of export is approx. 495.20 Crore per annum by 56 industrials Units.  

PRIME MINISTER ROZGAR YOJANA SCHEME :-

This scheme is popularly known as PMRY scheme has been very successful in providing in employment to the educated unemployed youth. Under the  scheme 561 beneficiaries have got been provided financial assistance of Rs.364 Lacs during the year 2006-07. So far an amount of Rs.1584.18 Lacs has got been provided from bank to 2812 beneficiaries.

UP COMING PROJECTS:-

             Kundli- Mneser – Palwal Exprees Highway KMP Exprees Highway will passed through Distt- jhajjar.  It would provide ample opportunity for Distt. to developed at per with Gurgaon Provided other world class infrastructure is ensured. The work has been Starded.

HSIDC Ind. Estate:-

             Haryana State Industrial Development Corporations is also is in process of developing new industrial sector 4-B comprising of 177 acre of land for which sector – 6 has been notified acquisition of land. There is also a proposal to developed Industrial Estate at Badli om 500 acre land approx, so that entrepreneurs could be provided better infrastructure to accelerate the pace of industrialization in the district.

Special Economic Zone:-

             There is proposal to set up SEZ Comprising land of Distt . Gurgaon & Distt- jhajjar which will open up new evenues for industrial and economical activities in the Distt- by providing infrastructure of of International Level.

Food Park :-

                      Govt. of India is providing grants to setup food parks in the country. Jhajjar being a agrarian  Distt. Adjoining to National Capital being take up for this project which will be not to help to raise living standard of vegetable growers in the area but also in water conservation & crop diversification.

Automobile Project :-

                       Seeing the experience of Gurgaon & Faridabad if state govt. succeed to motivate any Big Industrial House to setup a automobile project, it will give sharp boots to cluster of ancillaries SSI Units.

Problems :-

                    Provision of Dry Port : The vehicles are not destined for Delhi cannot center in Delhi hence the containers carrying the export consigmennt from the Bahadurgarh to Tuglaqabad have to go via Rohtak – Rewari-Gurgaon. As a result lot of times is wasted and approximately 10 times freight is spent. So the provision of Dry port in the area is very essential for the industry.

      Connecting the Dehli Cellular Phone From the Bahadurgarh :-

                Landline Phone without “O” Facility  : To connect the Dehli cellular with “O” dialing is a must whereas it is not so in case of Nodia. Faridabad and Gurgaon. The Telecommunication is one of the most widely udes mode of communication so like landline to landline it becomes basic necessity to get the connected to Dehli  Mobile Phones from Bahadurgarh landline phones without the use of “O” facility.
