Duties of Organization

            Duties of Sadar Kanungo Branch

                        The main function on this branch is to keep the record of the land regarding ownership and cultivation upto date. For this purpose, there is one record room of land record where Jamabandies of the whole of this District is kept. Not only this the Mussavis prepared by the consolidation staff at the time of the consolidation are also kept in this record room. Sadar Kanungo has to perform Duty as per para No. 2.7, 2.8, 2.58, 2.60, 2.60A, 2.61, 2.63, 2.64, 2.65, 2.66, 2.67, 8.15, 8.17 of the Haryana Land Record Manual and as per Annexure-H – I. Staff II. Standing orders etc. III. Files of transfer of Patwaries and Kanungoes IV. Patwar Khanas V. Indents VI. Patwari School VII. Pay of Patwaries VIII. Pay of Kanungoes IX. Budget X. Patwaries characters rolls XI. Patwaries and Kanungoes service books XII. Kanungo’s character rolls XIII. Diaries of Patwaries and Field Kanungoes XIV. Tours statement of Field Kanugoes XV.                         The function of this branch to maintain the accounts of recovery of Govt. dues i.e. land revenue, rate and dues of other Govt. Departments, Boards, Corporation and Banks etc. Besides this, the branch also deals with the work of allotment and leasing out of Nazul Land , Fixation of market rate of the land and the disposal of the acquired abandoned land.

            This branch deals with following works:-

1.                  Registration at the registrar level.

2.                  Examination the work done by the Sub-Registrar.

3.                  Maintenance of old record of registration.

4.                  Sealed wills.

5.                  Duly stamping of documents.

Flood Branch

            The main function of this branch is to monitor control the flood and other natural climates. At the time of crises, this branch provides direct help to the public by providing relief equipment and trained personnel. The information regarding sufferers from natural calamities like flood, dryness, house collapse etc. is brought to the notice of the Govt. through this branch and the relief provided by the Govt. to the sufferers is also distributed amongst the sufferee by this branch through Revenue Officers. To arrange flood a joint inspection by District Officers.

 

Vernaculars Record Room 

          This record room maintained in Old Tehsil Complex. All record prior to 1985 of decided cases of Judicial Jhajjar Court is consigned in this record room available.

 

 

 

Copping Agency

            The main function of this branch is to provide the certified copies of all public documents consigned in the record room of land record and of the revenue records Jamabandies etc. The court cases decided or undecided to the concerned persons or their counsels on their demand

Ligh-Migh Branch

            The function of this branch is to provide financial aid in the shape of loan on nominal interest for the construction of house to the person having either low income or middle income group. This branch also recovers the loan amount disbursed by this Branch. In the last year, no amount was disbursed.

 

 

Land Acquisition Branch

            As per instructions of the Govt. the District Revenue Officer is to act as Land for the public purpose for such departments who have no separate Land Acquisition Officer.

III.       Procedure in the decision making process including channel of suitable and accountability

The noting on PUC is initiated by the head of the branches checked by ASR and checked by the DRO incharge of the branch with send to approval and decision. After the drafts are approved the dealing assistant prepare fare copies of the draft prepared by that branch. After typing the draft every branches responsible for its immediate dispatch and obtain signature of dispatcher of the record.
